Origin:
Bred by Jean-François Boursault (France, before 1820).
Introduced in France by Jean-Pierre Vibert in 1820 as 'Rose Boursault'.
Class:
Boursault.  
Bloom:
Vivid pink or red.  12 to 20 petals.  Medium, semi-double (9-16 petals), cluster-flowered bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  Glandular sepals, leafy sepals buds.  
Habit:
Tall, climbing, few or no prickles/thorns.  Fringed stipules foliage.  5 to 7 leaflets.

Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
Rosa x reclinata var. multiplex Redouté & Thory (1823)
According to François Joyaux 'Rose Boursault' was a seedling actually obtained by a daughter of Jean-François Boursault.
According to DNA analysis Boursault roses are hybrids of Rosa blanda - see 2024 reference.
