This rose is in evidence of Arboretum Borova hora TU Zvolen, Slovakia, as Unknow No. 2, but it is very likely that it is a ´Boursault rose´ .

Observations
Le premier de ces rosiers, celui à fleurs simples, est vraisemblablement un hybride de l’indica et de l’Alpina. Il a été répandu par M . CUGNOT, jardinier-fleuriste; il est assez rare. Le second, assez commun dans les jardins, et vulgairement appelé rose BOURSAULT, est un produit de la semence du premier. Tous deux, au printemps, se couvrent d'un grand nombre de fleurs qui se succèdent jusqu'à l'automne sur les pieds bien exposés; ils n'exigent aucune culture, et l'un comme l'autre sont très précieux pour l'ornement des treillages, tonnelles, etc.
