Bloom:
Dark red. None to mild, cinnamon fragrance. 10 petals. Average diameter 2". Semi-double to double, borne mostly solitary, cluster-flowered, in small clusters, high-centered to flat bloom form. Prolific, blooms in flushes throughout the season. Mossed buds.
Habit:
Short, armed with thorns / prickles, bushy, compact, rounded, upright, well-branched. Medium, semi-glossy, medium green, leathery foliage.
Height: 18" to 20" (45 to 50cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer. Can be used for beds and borders, container rose, cut flower or garden. Hardy. vigorous. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that. Can be grown in the ground or in a container (container requires winter protection). Can be pruned to maintain a shorter habit.
