On September 1, 1897, Dingee & Conard announced a contest to name the new ever-blooming white climber to be introduced the next year. Its temporary name was "No. 999." (Should this name be given as an alias in the HMF description?)

Five contestants submitted the winning entry, "Mrs. Robert Peary," and split the $100 award.

For an 1897 rose. I don’t think so. But you ask for 999 using contains and then decide.
