Hifalutin (1-53) Full rose type, dark red. This flower is not black-red like some but is close to crimson. The color contains very little blue. The thirty-six inch stems carry clean dark foliage. Bigger (88-55) This is a grandchild of Primevere. Pure white, full double with broad well rounded petals that are symmetrically arranged. The form is excellent and blooms late. The forty-two inch stem is strong and upright with medium sized clean foliage. This variety won the American Home Magazine Achievement Medal in Van Wert, Ohio, June 10, 1960. This medal is awarded to the best new seedling in the American Peony Society's National Show each year. Standard division "Net"...$25.00 each

I do not have very large stocks of them and there are not very many plants of some to be sent out this year. Sparkling Star — 1953 An early very bright dark pink single that has a lot of life. (1954) Page(s) [4]. Bigger Peonies One More for Fifty-Four Pink Cameo (6-45 Parentage unknown) A very formal and neat globular bloom of medium size. The beauty of this variety is its delicate pink shading on a white background blended perfectly. Its leatherlike substance gives it fine lasting quality. The plant is about thirty inches tall, blooms late midseason and has healthy, glossy medium green foliage. "Net"...$7.50

I do not have very large stocks of them and there are not very many plants of some to be sent out this year. Deer Creek — 1952 A full rose type double that is a smooth shade of medium pink. The flower is cup shaped with a collar of petals around the middle of the flower that are white, intermixed with pink petals that are the same shade as the rest of the flower. The center of the flower tends to be white also. Fine green foliage on a plant that is about thirty six inches tall. Won Honorable Mention in Boston as a seedling in 1947. I have grown them for a good many years and like them very much. Both are good bloomers and to date I find they bloom every year regardless of the season. Carrara— (59-37) White Jap. White bud, white guard petals, white stamenoids edged with yellow and white pistils. Flower opens white and stays white. Mid-America— (52-37) A fine full rose double. The color is a smooth shade of medium pink with a slight lavender cast. The flower is cup shaped with a collar of petals around the middle of the flower that are white intermixed or tipped with the major color of the flower. The center of the cup tends to be white also. This is a good cut flower and keeps well in cold storage. Won honorable mention as a seedling at Boston. "Net"...each...$10.00
