I have been growing this rose for over 3 years now and I love it. It is a great rose in my hot California garden. It takes our hot sun and keeps on growing strong. It blooms all year here unless we have a really cold winter as we do once in a blue moon. Very pink in the hot weather and purple to mauve in the cool weather. No die back of any kind in hot or cold weather, blooms age well turning to a frosted purple when dry before falling so I found no need to deadhead. Foliage is thick and shinny and plant has grown to about 8 ft or so in the 3 years that it has been planted and still growing.

I'm sorry but I am challenged in that area but I can tell you that it is very fragrant but not able to tell you what the fragrance is.

Thank you, it's helpful to get a first hand account.
"Very fragrant" is enough for me, that seals the deal and it's on my xmas list
