Origin:
Bred by Claude Ducher (1820-1874) (France, 1866).
Introduced in Australia by George Brunning - St. Kilda Nurseries in 1873 as 'Madame Pulliat'.
Class:
Hybrid Perpetual.  
Bloom:
Deep pink, purple shading.  Medium to large, full (26-40 petals), exhibition, globular bloom form.  
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles, dense.  
Growing:
Vigorous.  Blooms tend to ball in wet weather.  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
