Apricot or apricot blend. Reddish apricot. Mild to strong, tea fragrance. 28 petals. Large, semi-double to double bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.
Habit:
Short, spreading, well-branched. Dark green, holly-like foliage.
Height: up to 6' (up to 185cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default). Can be used for cut flower or garden. Disease susceptibility: mildew resistant.

Probably dedicated to Alice Gertrude Aspinwall (b. September 1860), daughter of John Hutchinson Aspinwall (1835- September 1884 Poole, Dorset) and Eweretta Amy Humby (December 10, 1837 - January 19, 1930 Coonoor, Madras), who on October 7, 1878 married Andrew Vans Dunlop Best (d. September 1916) in Coonoor, Madras, India. Andrews Vans Dunlop Best founded equipment manufacturing company Best & Co. in Madras in 1878 ¢today: Best & Crompton Engineering), and was a director of Shell Co. in 1911. Mrs. Dunlop Best lived 1902 in Hereford House, Park Street, London, when her daughter Gladys became a débutante.
