Bred by Mathias Leenders (1883 - 1958) (Netherlands, before 1933).
Introduced in Netherlands by Mathias Leenders & Co. in 1935 as 'Golden Poly'.
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1937 as 'Golden Poly'.
Class:
Polyantha.  
Bloom:
Golden-yellow, lilac shading, ages to cream .  Buds cadmium yellow with red stripes.  Strong fragrance.  Large, semi-double (9-16 petals) bloom form.  
Habit:
Short, bushy.  Glossy, light green foliage.
