'Fragrant Apricot ™' rose Reviews & Comments

I just love Fragrant Apricot. It is a happy, springy looking rose with a delightful fragrance and mine opened wonderful near the coast (Carlsbad, CA). It has beautiful deeper green leafs and a wonderful color. Frangrant Apricot is rare and difficult to find unfortunately. If anyone knows where I can buy more please let me know.

It is a very happy rose in Zone 9B Sacramento Valley. It loves the heat and is always in boom.

My fragrant apricot did poorly for two years and I nearly spaded it. Then it took off the third year and produces clusters throughout the season. Summers here (Texas zone 8) hit up to 110 degrees and it still blooms. Mine gets only three hours of morning sun per day. Black spot is moderately bad, but easily controlled with spray. The fragrance is very, very strong and classic damask. It also does well in a vase for a floribunda. Buds are high centered and blooms average 4". Very healthy and vigorous.
