The author comments especially on the description in the advertisement, which claimed that this old sort is a wonder of nature and blue. Even in Australia, is the colour at best lilac-pink - nevertheless, we have had here from time to time very curious lilac colours in the blooms - which still does not entitle to the contention that she is blue - and certaintly does not entitle to re-christen her."
