(23 Mar 1931) Page(s) 16. Henderson Experimental Gardens 1931-32Camellia Rose (Henderson). A rose introduced last year which has rapidly won favor with all who have seen it. A cross between General McArthur and Mrs. George Shawyer. In both the half-opened buds and fully opened flowers this variety closely resembles the popular Camellia, hence the name. It is beautiful in all stages of its development. Color a soft shade of silvery-pink, deepening as the flowers open.

A baby rose having the shape and size of the Cecile Brunner, but possessing the color of the Ed. Herriott or Daily Mail rose. Coral red in color shaded to yellow and bright scarlet. Very free and vigorous. $1.00 each. Excellent for bedding purposes.
