I have an awesome rose bush, the only one i don't know the name of. My mother got a cutting a long time ago, and gave me a rooted cutting, and it is just perfect. Totally round shrub, maybe 5' wide, 3' tall. Buds get balled up & funny sometimes. Whitish pink blooms, red stems and new growth. Smells like grapefruit (?) I didn't prune it this year, it doesn't need it. It almost seems to deadhead itself? It literally NEVER stops blooming, from April til frost (zone 7). I've been wanting to know at least the class, so I could buy more like this. I'm posting the photo. Thanks so much!

I can't find your photo, but "blooms spring through fall" could be a floribunda, china, portland, bourbon, or tea. However, the one that came to mind first (whitish pink, fragrant) was 'Gruss an Aachen', a floribunda. See its photo in The Time Life Complete Gardener- Roses, p.20 or get a Google image.

Looks very much like 'Gruss...' ! The pic is on p. 33 in the reference I cited. Are the blooms in clusters? 3 inches wide? cup-shaped? double? They appear in your photo that way. Supposed to be very hardy and disease resistant, that Grussy. Wish I had one.

See 'Gruss' on this site. There are lots of pictures that look like your rose. I think Anonymous is right.

Hi! I am still a bit unsure (I wish I could smell Gruss, then I'd know!) the photo's seem a little bit more of a peachy-pink center than mine, mine are more ? "Gum" pink centers? I am wondering if it cound be Clotilde Soupert? The photo's look very similar. Does any one have any info on that one? Thanks!
