Hello Jean. I wonder if you still have Centennial Miss? I lost mine and would love to get it back!

Hi Paul. There's a name I haven't heard in many years from way back when on the Gardenweb rose forums when it use to be Gardenweb and I used to be Decobug and roses were popular.
You inspired me to try hybridizing. I figured if an everyday guy (not a big corporation) could do it, I could too. I loved your Incantation. Glad to see that RVR is still selling it. I couldn't of course. Especially after reading everything you go through just to come up with one rose, I knew I would just grow them.
I took that particular photo of Centennial Miss when I visited the San Jose Heritage Rose Garden in 2003. A year after articles describing the garden were published in international rose magazines and I just HAD to travel from Idaho to see it. Back when it was quite impressive and it took me 7 hours to photograph each rose that was blooming that particular day in June.
I miss Ralph Moore. I know you liked using his roses in your work. I use to have quite a collection of his micro minis. I still have his Little Pinkie and Mighty Moe. Miss the others now that they are gone. I've went from over 500 roses in my garden down to around 50 now.
Didn't mean to babble on. I don't know if SJHRG still has your rose. I have my doubts but you never know.
Best of luck.
Jean

Hello Jean! Thanks for your reply. I will keep looking for Centennial Miss, but I won’t be surprised if it’s gone now. Sad, but not surprising. You still have Little Pinkie?? I’m looking to get that one again too. Apparently Burling has it, but not on her current list. I’ll ask her.
Thanks, and take care. Paul
