Bloom:
Strong, sweet fragrance. Very full (41+ petals), button-eye, old-fashioned bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
This seedling was selected for further testing from a population of 40 the Wedgwood Rose OP (most likely selfs) seedlings, basing on flower quality. C06-1 was the only seedling that expressed a bloom significantly different from its siblings; all the other seedlings had 20 to 40 petals arranged in a shallow cup, in a color range varying from shell to medium pink. All the other seedlings had a medium, musk scent, very similar to the Wedgwood Rose's one.
C06-1 will be evaluated in the next seasons with six siblings selected for vigour and health.
