Gonna guess White Licorice x (Perfume Perfection x Crystalline).
Probably accurate but introducers rarely release parentages anymore, which is honestly sad. People deserve to know where the things they have come from.

This rose was introduced only in France? Where is Bedard working now?
Agreed about hiding parentage. We gardeners need this information to help us evaluate the suitability of cultivars for our own gardens. Texas is not Maine.
Read the DA website and you might think every English rose can be grown at least to zone 5, which I can tell you is simply not true.

Ive noticed a trend of Weeks doing intros in both France and UK, often with new names. Sometimes they are mainstays, and sometimes these are non-North American tangents. However, sometimes the latter shows up here at a later date by smaller producers like Spring Hill. I think Weeks looks at it like business isn't like what it was, so it's time to proliferate where it can.

Of course it is important to those who follow HMF, but I’d bet 99.9% of consumers don’t care, so the producers have no incentive to reveal parentage.

While its true that Home Depot and Lowe's probably do more for rose culture by simply existing than the current rendition of the ARS does, that does not make it right in terms of knowing what is in something we "consume" or for historical context. That's on them. Not us.
