Commissioned by Hayward College, a residential college at Otago University New Zealand, to commemorate their 25th anniversary.  ‘Hayward college’ has deep red old fashioned style blooms that have extremely weather resistant petals that last on the bush or in a vase for weeks. The bush is medium high with a compact habit. It has dark matte foliage and any new growth is a dark red-purple. Hybrid Tea.  Dark Red. Flower Size: 90 - 100 mm. Petal Count: 40+.
