This rose tends to bloom in clusters of 3 - 5 and the flowers are so big and thick that I have to remove the one in the middle in order to give the others room to bloom.

Sweet Elegance foliage is constantly attacked by black-spot but this doesn't seem to disturb it - keeps flowering on and on, even when it doesn't have any leaves on. New leaves do come back but it is never very full of leaves, they are quite scarce.

The flowers are very slow to open but are long lasting (weeks and weeks). This rose is also the last one to go to sleep at the end of the season. It wants to flower even after the first frosts!

Sweet Elegance was slow to develop for me. It only started to perform after I let it grow tall. It is now 2,5 m high and it showered me with flowers all year long. It has very straight and sturdy canes that are almost thornless and they support the flowers very well.

This rose didn't perform well until its 4th year. It was so bad that I didn't even think of taking any photos of her before. I almost gave up on her and was planning on taking it out. But I guess miracles happen and in a bad year (2021) when most roses performed badly for me, Sweet Elegance gave me its very best!

This is the first rose I planted in my garden. I have it since October 2017. It was very slow to grow and I was not impressed with it at all. It has no fragrance and if it rains a lot the buds tend to ball and rot. So I have to remove its outer petals for the flower to stand a chance in humid weather. Still, when the flowers do open they are magnificent!

Its flowers are lovely and sweet, even with no perfume. The petals are thick and the flowers last a really long time on the plant, even in summer. When the flowers are open, even if it rains a lot, they don't mind and don't seem to be affected.
