'Hot Topic' (Somartmina) - 4857; floribunda bred by Rob Somerfield, Glenavon Roses. This rose looked spectacular in the early spring, absolutely covered in bright orange medium size blooms in clusters with some fragrance obvious too. The compact medium growing rose was complemented with dark green foliage. This rose was well talked about at the awards function where it looked at its best. However, for me it did not attract the same attention  after the late spring early summer flowering. Flowers became smaller while mites and the powdery mildew hit hard late February onwards
