But the parentage of Jubilé Papa Meilland in that illustration is the reverse of the U.S. Patent.

I think ‘New Papa Meilland’ is ‘ Jubilé Papa Meilland’. Can anybody confirm that please?

Patricia, if they are the same, it seems that Meilland may not want to advertise the fact. I notice that none of the “New Papa” vendors list any registration name at all. However, with a little sleuthing, you may notice that the close-up picture for “Jubile Papa” on the Meilland website is identical to the Wagner’s picture (and other vendors) for “New Papa”. You can draw your own conclusions.
