This rose was sent to me as an own root rose that was part of the J&P test panel rose group. Later I got a bare root rose from the test panel with the same name but a different rose. The own root rose is identical to Crescendo in every way. The bare root rose is similar but different .

Re your own-root rose. The photo that accompanied the Australian bronze medal award in 2013 for '02-01155' does look similar to 'Crescendo' (hybrid tea, Zary 2010) JACgemze. It seems that '02-01155' should be merged with 'Crescendo' (hybrid tea, Zary 2010)?

I cannot comment on your bare-rooted rose, but HelpMeFind lists three 'Crescendo's.

J&P sent out small own root test panel roses in the Fall. I then got bare root test panel roses in the Spring. The two sets of the same test panel roses were different roses. I have the fall version of 02-0155 planted in the middle of two J&P Crescendo roses that I purchased later. There is no difference. J& P just made a mistake and sent out the wrong roses in the Fall shipment.

Yeah, but the test panels came out during the Zary's reign at J & P, and having gotten that same rose, I once asked Deb whether that test rose could be Crescendo, and she went back to her records and looked, and the word came back that Crescendo was never in the test panel. So, that test panel rose is probably closely related, but not exact.

I took mine to one of our MDRS little Rose Shows and labeled it Crescendo. It got first place and Jolene was the judge. No body knew the difference between this rose and Crescendo.
