I think it is Dr. Brownell. I grew this for years and the fragrance and color are very variable. The leaves and form are spot on.

What is evident to me in these photos is that the foliage is not typical for most roses with this type of form from this era in time. That should help limit the ideas as to what this rose is.

Definately not Dr. Brownell, is it fragrant? Is the plant rather tall? Looks somewhat like President Herbert Hoover, but maybe a little pink. Just a guess. Doesn't look terribly modern, my guess is what you are thinking, 1935-55, maybe another Brownell. So many just don't have pictures it makes it tough to evaluate......

EDIT: 2/01/21---just reviewed the "newer" pictures posted 7 years ago. (!!!). The foliage and the more apricot-orange bloom and the habit, seemingly wider than tall, would indicate Dr. Brownell so I change my vote. The initial pic was very pink and more formal shaped than Dr. Brownell would typically produce, but cooler temps would do that.

To Andre Carl. One full-frontal photo is not enough to even hazard a guess. More photos of the inflorescence, pedicel, hip, leaf / leaves and bush are needed.
