Introduced in France by Jean-Pierre Vibert in before 1829 as 'Rosa Nora'.
Class:
Hybrid China.  
Bloom:
Light pink.  Moderate fragrance.  Medium, semi-double to double bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  
Habit:
Few or no prickles/thorns.

According to member andrewandsally probably dedicated to Nora Kennedy, a ward of Sir George Ferrars ("Compton") Townshend, 3rd Marquess Townshend (December 13, 1778 - December 31, 1855 Genoa)
