Nola Simpson New Zealand International Rose Trial Ground. Trial 18. 1987-1988. 'Tina', a red climber bred by Hedley Buchanan, Palmerston North. Another amateur to come up with an award in this trial. A very vigorous, healthy climber bearing masses of rich red flowers during spring. The colour holds well and the flowers have good lasting ability. Not a lot of bloom past the major flush.
