Very free flowering, however the flowers do not last long and the petals drop quickly. None-the-less it gives a good display and the colour is a good mid-yellow. Its major drawback is its susceptibility to black spot.

Book (1972) Page(s) 77. Roy and Heather Rumsey, NSW. Miniatures. Yellow Doll is also good although not quite as compact [as 'Gold Coin'] . The flowers are a good yellow colour and are larger than 'Gold Coin', but this is still a good yellow.

Free flowering, compact, shapely plants with a little more vigour than some miniatures. The very double HT. type florets are about 1 1/2 inches in diameter and fade readily except on cool days.

Moore) A lovely plant somewhat spreading in growth with about 60 petals in a small flower and about 20 flowers in a cluster. This looks like the variety we have been looking for to plant with 'China Doll'. ('Golden Glow' x ['Carolyn Dean' x 'Tom Thumb'] ).
