I treat mine as a grandiflora by pruning it to 8-12" each winter. It behaves very well this way, with a little lean by September (who cares by then?), and the fragrance is very nice. Very strong Americana Rose species scent and clove.

Wanderin' Wind is one of my favorite Buck roses. It produces large flowers on a healthy plant that grows as an arching shrub or a short climber. March 2012 in San Antonio, Tx.
