'Tuckdaddy' rose Reviews & Comments

Daddy Frank is entering its second summer here. This is a giant miniature. It's again easily 3 feet tall and wide, and I've had to stake a cane on more than 1 occasion. It's at the front of a rosebed that parallels our front driveway, and it easily eclipses Cinnamon Girl, planted in the spot directly behind it, and most of Love, planted 2 back. Major planning/planting oopsy, not knowing how large Daddy Frank would get. Lots and lots of blooms, nearly continuously. Mostly 3 blooms to a stem. Lovely red-velvety color that neither blanches out or crispens to a sickly purple.

The registration on this rose was changed from Mini-Flora to Miniature this year.

Now there are both in the main page -- miniature and mini-flora. Probably should get rid of the "mini-flora" altogether, or explain that it was changed by the breeder after initial registration, to remove that bit of confusion.
