Origin:
Discovered by Institut botanique de Strasbourg (France, before 1901).
Introduced in France by Roseraie de l'Hay in 1901 as ' Rosa microphylla X Rosa rugosa '.
Class:
Hybrid Roxburghii, Hybrid Rugosa, Species Cross.  
Bloom:
Light pink, lilac shading.  Average diameter 4".  Large, single (4-8 petals) bloom form.  Spring or summer flush with scattered later bloom.  Rounded buds.  
Habit:
Large, wrinkled (rugose) foliage.  

Height: up to 5' (up to 150cm).  Width: up to 5' (up to 150cm).
Growing:
Produces decorative hips.  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
