Book (1931) p45 Article by the editor, T. A. Stewart: “A Record of all Australian raised varieties”. .......Another of the pioneer hybridists of Queensland was Alf. Williams, who in the year 1900 sent out his first two roses in Jenny Jones and G. W. Watkins, and between that year and 1914 gave to the rose world no fewer than eleven varieties.
