Large, double, high centred, cherry-cerise flowers, shading to golden yellow at base, attractive stamens, recurrent flowering. Smooth, leathery foliage, large leaflets. Flower: 27 petals, 100mm, 1 to 4. Climber 4m x 3m.

This charming  rose has just the colour and foliage to make a sparkling climber; if it was more generous after its first flush of bloom, it would be everybody's choice. I have often been surprised  at the affection this niggard inspires in its owners. The sport first appeared in Australia, and was introduced by George Knight & Sons in 1931.
