R. primula a graceful little plant with yellow flowers that resemble primroses. Discovered in eastern Russia in 1890, it is sometimes called the Incense Rose because its foliage, when crushed, smells like myrrh or Russian leather... In Great Britain, this shrub is so highly prized for its delicate appearance and remarkably fragrant foliage that it has received an award of merit.
