'Astronaut Čerňan' rose Description

Bloom:
Coral-pink. Delicate coral pink in the center. Edges of petals are a light, creamy-white. Mild fragrance. 20 to 25 petals. Double (17-25 petals) bloom form.
Habit:
Medium, bushy. Semi-glossy, light green foliage.
Height: up to 28" (up to 70cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).

´Astronaut Čerňan´, František Glváč 2005, Slovakia, HT syn.: ´Astronaut Cernan´ Parentage: Seedling x ´Desireé´ Shrub with light green, semi-matte foliage, of medium height (0.7 meters). Bud and elegant blossom on long shoots with few thorns. Long-lasting, delicately fragrant and full blossom (20–25 petals), delicate coral pink in the center. Edges of petals are a light, creamy-white. This rose is dedicated to the successful moon crew of Apollo 17, the leader of which was Captain Eugene Andrew Cernan, the progeny of Czech and Slovak parents and grandparents from Kysuce, Slovakia.
