Of the newest roses in Slovakia, we present the roses of the author of this book, hybridizer František Glváč of Bratislava, a native of Pezinok. His hybridized roses are named after important figures such as Alexander Dubček, Astronaut Čerňan and Štefan Banič. The hybridized roses ´Bobejka´ and ´Slovenka z Dabas Šári´ are dedicated to the Slovak communities in Romania and Hungary.
