Rübezahl. The rose, whose coloured picture is enclosed in this issue, is a cultivar of the esteemed Dr. Krüger, Freiburg i. Br. Floowing a serious illness, he had to give up his cultures and transferred to us [Weber & Scheuermann] all his stocks of breeding material. We have observed this material for 3 years, and propagated the really valuable, which are novelties. One of them is Rübezahl; she flowered for the first time in 1914; growth vigorous, not very branching; Foliage vigorous and desease-free; flowers medium to large; flower perfect, opening in all sorts of weather; color velvety carmine-scarlet; floriferous; hardiness like a HP
