Stefano Calvino, during his collaboration as a breeder with NIRP (1967 – 1970) besides Marlyse, bred a very scented, mauve rose. At that time it was named Sanremo and dedicated to the opera singer Giulietta Simionato (Stefano Calvino, personal communication). Might this rose be PEKsisar?? PEKsi(mionato)sa(n)r(emo)?????

Could anyone possibly tell me the difference between the two Sissis - PEKsisar and Mungia 1981 - please? Is one more reliable than the other, etc..? Thank you!!
