1998. “Botanica’s Roses” Note. this is from the 1st edition, not the 2nd. The colour picture on p412 is that of the Walsh rose Mini Magic, - but the description is that of the Williams Mini Magic. p412 Mini Magic. MICMAG, MICmagic. Modern, miniature. Red blend. Repeat-flowering. The flowers of ‘Mini Magic’ are basically white with a lovely red edging, which highlights the overall shape of the flowers. The petal underside has a deeper red color. The blooms have 35 petals and tend to be on the small side and there is no fragrance. They are cupped and generally occur in small sprays of 5-8 florets. The plant has a strong preponderance to repeat-bloom on a fast cycle, and a profusion of blooms normally covers the entire low-growing, compact bush. It requires little or no maintenance. This rose is strongly recommended for planting in hanging baskets or in containers where space is limited. Zones 5-10. Sport of ‘Baby Katie’ x ‘Watercolor’.
