Traditionally, cultivars from the polyantha and floribunda classes have been used for pot rose forcing... 'Dick Koster' and 'Margo Koster' (polyanthas) have been used extensively... The floribunda 'Garnette' and its many sports (e.g. 'Carol Amling', 'Marimba', and Bright Pink Garnette')... Until recently, they were still among the mainstays of the pot rose forcing industry in North America, especially for large containers...

ROSIERS « KOSTER » POUR LA CULTURE EN POTS ET POUR BORDURES BASSES Cette race récente de rosiers multiflores fleurit en grappes de petites fleurs très doubles, du genre Polyantha. Les plus adaptés à la culture en pots ou en bacs, ils peuvent être rentrés durant l'hiver en appartement, où la floraison intervient suivant le cas d'avril à mai, et se poursuit durant l'été. Aussi pour rocailles et petites bordures....
