Bred by Amanda Beales (1967-2013) (United Kingdom, 2006).
Introduced in United Kingdom by Peter Beales Roses in 2005 as 'Gardeners' Joy'.

Shrub.  

Apricot or apricot blend.  Moderate fragrance.  Average diameter 4".  Medium to large, semi-double (9-16 petals), cluster-flowered, in large clusters bloom form.  Continuous (perpetual) bloom throughout the season.  

Medium, upright.  Medium, glossy, dark green foliage.  

Height: 35" to 4'11" (90 to 150cm).  

USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Can be used for container rose, garden, landscape, pillar or shrub.  Remove spent blooms to encourage re-bloom.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.

(Shrub rose) We are very proud to introduce this lovely scented shrub rose as part of the celebrations commemorating the four hundredth anniversary of 'The Worshipful Company of Gardeners'. This rose is a healthy, medium to short shrub rose of champagne to soft apricot in colour with lots of superb, light green, semi-glossy foliage. Its unique colouring will fill a gap in the current range of available modern shrub roses.
