Orange-pink Hybrid Tea. Registration name: HaddelExhibition name: Smooth Delight
Bloom:
Orange, pink outer petals, peach shading. Mild fragrance. 34 to 36 petals. Average diameter 4.5". Very large, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary, globular bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season. Ovoid buds.
Habit:
Medium, bushy, few or no prickles/thorns, upright. Glossy, medium green, leathery foliage. 3 to 7 leaflets.
Height: 4'1" (125cm). Width: 30" (75cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default). Can be used for cut flower, garden, hedge or specimen. Remove spent blooms to encourage re-bloom. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.

The present invention relates to a new and distinctive cultivar of rose plant of the Hybrid Tea class, which was originated by my crossing an unnamed yellow seedling as the seed parent with `Smooth Sailing` as the pollen parent. The cultivar name of this plant is designated as `Haddell`. It is being marketed under the commercial name of `Smooth Delight`.
Notes:
The above information is taken from U.S. patent application #20050120445. Additionally, it notes that the blooms are "large, peach shaded...single flower to a stem, very consistent free bloomer, upright bushy plant. Seed parent: "unnamed yellow hybrid tea seedling; few prickles"
