p10 These two roses [‘Rae Dungan’ and ‘Double Delight’] seem to have some common features although they don’t have similar parents. The parents of ‘Double Delight’ are ‘Granada’ x ‘Garden Party’ and ‘Rae Dungan’ is bred from ‘Daily Sketch’ x ‘Fred Streeeter’. Is ‘Peace’ the common factor? It is in the lineage of both.

p52 Mr. George Thomson. ‘Rae Dungan’ A yellow hybrid tea with rose pink tones. I have had this one for only a short time but it looks like being a very good rose.

p53 Mr. Allan Read. George Dawson’s ‘Rae Dungan’ was a good dual-purpose rose for show work – a very tall grower.

p60. Richard Walsh, ….and later added ‘Rae Dungan’ from the same stable to my collection. I still grow ….and ‘Rae Dungan’ even though the latter does not do all that well since I moved it to a new location. ‘Rae Dungan’ is a terrific rose, vigorous, fragrant and well formed.

p62 Mrs. Dianne Ackland. ‘Rae Dungan’, Dawson, 1971. A tall growing fully double hybrid tea which is creamy yellow with a deep pink/red edge to the petals, in the style of ‘Double Delight’, but more robust. Stunning perfume and long lasting blooms which are good for cutting. The foliage is a bit sparse, but the flowers and perfume make up for this.
