Witherspoon is one of the most breath taking roses I grow. This spring and early summer I have counted already over 100 huge beautiful champagne yellow, pink and soft white hued blooms. The plant itself is very healthy and disease is a rarity even though our weather here makes that sometimes difficult. The fragrance is classsic!

I bought this rose from the originating nursery, Witherspoon Roses in Durham, NC, the first year it was available. It has shown excellent resistance to Black Spot despite a very rainy spring. The blooms are large with a tinge of pink in cooler weather. A beautiful rose with excellent disease resistance.
