It seems there was also a Villa Archinto at Monza, a view of which is presented in a painting by Giuseppe Canella, something which, in my view, strengthens the suggestion that this rose was raised by Casoretti.

The Villa is stiil there! It was built, on a pre-existing villa, for Count Archinto by Luigi Canonica between 1829 and 1840. Canonica disegned also the large park adjoining the park of Villa Reale and the river Lambro.

Villa Achinto. After having leisurely visited the wide I.R.Villa [of Monza], the Villa that Conte Archinto owns in Monza, on the bank of river Lambro at the end of the village Corrobiolo, remains to be seen with great pleasure

The Archinto family possessed many villas, the best known being at Robecco. Another at Cavallasca not far from Como. The rose Archinto is listed in the Tagliabue catalogue of 1840. Another Casoretti rose is my guess.
