'Gelber Engel ®' rose Description

Light yellow Floribunda. Exhibition name: Gelber Engel ®
Bloom:
Light yellow, golden-yellow stamens. None to mild fragrance. Average diameter 2.25". Medium, double (17-25 petals), cluster-flowered, in small clusters bloom form. Continuous (perpetual) bloom throughout the season.
Habit:
Short, compact, spreading. Medium, glossy, dark green, dense foliage.
Height: 32" (80cm). Width: 2' (60cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default). Can be used for beds and borders, container rose, cut flower or garden. Vigorous. produces decorative hips. Disease susceptibility: disease resistant. Remove spent blooms to encourage re-bloom. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
