There seems to be a problem with the lineage tree algorithm. It looks to get confused by unnamed seedlings and substitues a named parent of the unnamed seedling instead. For instance, see Lady Lavander's tree:

http://helpmefind.com/rose/pl.php?n=3705&tab=21&lstTyp=16,

where the parents of Swarthmore are shown as being Peace and Independence. The parents are really Peace and an unnamed seedling of Independence and Happiness - see

Thanks for taking the time to report this problem Don. We'll take a look.

Thanks again Don. The problem has been corrected. Turns out unnamed seedlings were not displayed properly if they were the last (4th) generation displayed.

It's people like yourself that take the time to report an error and then go one step further to explain in detail that help keep HMF on track. We depend on feedback from our site guests.

My pleasure. This database is unimaginably useful and the interface is quite well done, so thanks yourself.
