'Ronald Reagan ™' rose Reviews & Comments

-
Ronald Reagan is one of the best roses we've had for a long time. It has been disease free, it blooms a lot, and the blooms last a long time on the plant - even longer as a cut flower. The form is excellent in the garden or for exhibition. Handles summer heat very well. Cannot rate for cold tolerance since it does not get that cold in my locale.

Good afternoon- I have been searching high and low to replace our Ronald Reagan rose that was purchased for our daughter Reagan when she was born. Would you be willing to sell a clipping that might be able to transplant, or do you know where I can purchase one?
Thank you so much! Susan Wiley Kansas City Metro

I buried 2 of these, the original and the replacement. It never did leaf out, much less bloom.

Sometimes you just get dud bushes of an otherwise good variety of rose. I have had that happen to me several times. I get a rose and it is a total waste of time and then somehow end up with another of the same and it is like a totally different rose. I have also had the opposite happen. I had a great rose and bought another and it turned out to be a dud. I have one like that now. John

Ronald Reagan has very long, strong, straight stems. Excellent cutting and lasts a long time in vase. This rose does very well in summer heat. We always get oohs and aahs when people see this rose.

Michael,
I read through the patent and added a few points to the listing we had missed but I don't see where you found the lineage reference to Ingrid Bergman. Did I miss something ?
