Rose D'Amour and Rochefort are also in this bed and are both excellent varieties in the fancy class.  Rose D'Amour gives best colour in late summer and autumn, but not very attractive in spring.  Its growth is much more vigorous than Rochefort.  This latter, however, is of excellent colour throughout the season.  I prize them both.
