Origin:
Bred by Louis Rose Vilin (France, before 1904). Introduced in France by Veuve Rose Vilin & fils in 1905 as 'Souvenir du Rosiériste L. Rose Vilin'. Introduced in Australia by H. Kemp in 1909 as 'Souvenir du Rosiériste L. Rose Vilin'.
Bloom:
White. Very large, very double, borne mostly solitary, in small clusters, flat bloom form. Occasional repeat later in the season.
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles. Dark green foliage. 5 leaflets.
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
