*** Growing near Houston, TX: sub tropical zone 9a. Mild winters, hot, extremely humid summers that last half the year. ***
Purchased 7/2014 from Rio bay roses.
9/23/14- planted in raised bed. Love the flowers so far.
7/18/2015- Doesn't look good for this one. All canes have died back to the nub...
9/4/2015- After a hot, dry summer, rains have returned and this rose is showing signs of life. We will see.
11/2015- repotted and put on life support.
5/2016- I may have lost this one, because I haven't seen it since last year...
7/6/2016- SHE LIVES! I found her today with three little blooms. I'll have to pot this one into a larger container and baby it along some to get it back to being healthy. I'm disappointed that she struggles so much in my garden, but I do really like those flowers.
4/2018- dead. this one can't take the heat
