According to the label, the breeder code for 'Little Wishes' is HARquantum so it is 'International Herald Tribune' under YET ANOTHER name.

True! Could be much worse. No worries & yes it does sound good, I have always wanted this rose & am happy to finally have it!

I know you're somewhere in NSW so just wondering if the plant was/is healthy for you?
It appears to be less than ideal here in Syd, every leaf infected.

Anyone able to comment on thorns?
Got a bare root of it, strangely no thorns at all (not even evidence of thorns being removed)...which is odd as even on "thornless" roses the bases often have some thorns. If it were thornless I'd imagine one of the numerous sites selling it here and internationally would mention it but nope....so maybe I might have a mislabel.

Stronger canes will develop large prickles.
Smooth roses are not unique. I've bred many. Growers are generally not interested.

I purchased this rose last year at the Sacramento Open Garden Sale and have simply loved it. Healthy, nice habit, around 2 1/2 feet and nearly ever present with flowers. I bought it on a whim and have been thrilled with its performance. I would recommend this rose.

IHT had grown to 4.5 feet/137cm in my garden. I pruned it down to 3 feet, and it has responded with vigorous new growth. It obviously likes pruning.
