VIEW PBR PATENTin 1991 seed parent, an unnamed seedling, crossed with pollen parent ‘Ausgold’. The seeds produced were sown Jan 1992 (Northern Hemisphere). From this seedling population, the best seedling was selected from which six buds were grafted to ‘Laxa’ rootstock. This seedling (to be known as ‘Ausquest’) was further trialled and in 1994 selected for multiplication. Bud grafting was conducted each year to produce approximately 5000 plants by 1998
